Bokken Wood Tachi
The beautiful wooden tachi “Kodainoken” looks like a real tachi, but features a robust blade made from durable Bahia rosewood. Thanks to its wooden blade, this exquisite bokutō is excellently suited for training in Japanese martial arts. The saya (scabbard) is made from hardwood and is painted. The handle is traditionally covered with simulated ray skin and tightly wrapped with polyester silk.
Note: A tachi and a katana are the same length but differ in curvature. More information: Difference between tachi and katana
The high-quality craftsmanship and the authentically detailed appearance of an antique samurai sword, with a real tsuba and brass handle decoration, make this bokken a true standout among training swords.
„Observation and perception are two different things. The eye that observes is stronger; the eye that perceives is weaker.“
