Kanao is a small, young girl with large, soft eyes in dark purple, framed by thick eyelashes. She has thin black hair tied back in a ponytail on the right side of her head with a pink and green butterfly ornament that once belonged to her adopted sister, Kanae Kocho. She has straight bangs and two loose, chin-length strands that curve down above each of her ears.
